Disability and Climate Change: A Public Archive Project

Disability and Climate Change: A Public Archive Project chronicles the wisdom and expertise of disabled activists, artists, and first responders working for climate justice.  Enter the archive to read and explore curated versions of deep conversations between disabled practitioners, written in an engaging conversational style and designed to speak to a broad public audience. Resources are available in English, Spanish, and in Plain Language format.  As part of this project, Claire and collaborator Matthias Herrmann have created audio works based on interviews from the archive, which will be available as part of the collection soon.

The Disability and Climate Change Archive Project is directed by Julia Watts Belser at Georgetown University, in partnership with a team of international collaborators and student research assistants. Our work is sustained by generous support from a Georgetown Humanities Initiative Grant and Georgetown University’s Laudato Si Fund
